“This is an important step for tribal and long-term economic diversification strategies,” said San Manuel Chairman Ken Ramirez. “On behalf of the tribe, we are grateful for the opportunity to join the community we have come to know and appreciate.”

For many years, the tribe has shown interest and supported the Las Vegas community through donations to nonprofits and Las Vegas organizations, including UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hospitality and William S. Boyd School of Law, Public Education Foundation and Shade Tree Shelter, Las Vegas Radars and Alligant Stadium, and partnerships with the Vegas Golden Knights.

“The Farms is a well-designed property that has been beautifully redeveloped and maintained by Red Rock Resort. Our committee believes The Farms is a casino resort that many of the loyal guests of the Manuel Casino that they bought can enjoy,” said Latisha Casas, SMGHA’s president. “We are delighted to be moving forward with this deal.”
