The South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa will host the Brendan Gaughan Celebrity Blackjack Tour on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 4-7 p.m. Participants can compete with NASCAR’s top drivers and other celebrities to officially kick off the South Point 400 weekend.
The event features a large number of celebrity players, including former NASCAR Cup champion Kevin Harvick, NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Rusty Wallace, current NASCAR star Chris Buescher, former Xfinity Series champion Daniel Hemrick, former Vegas Golden Knights captain Derek Engeland, and NBC Sports announcer Rick Allen. As the event nears, more celebrity athletes will be added.
Fans who purchase tickets in groups of three will have the opportunity to play with celebrities all night. Participants can also enjoy cocktails and appetizers before starting the tournament. Former NASCAR driver and event host Brendan Gaughan will host the final round of the night. The team that wins first place will receive $5,000. The second and third-place teams will receive $3,000 and $2,000, respectively. The 4th and 5th place teams will serve dinner at Silverado Steak House or Don Vito, and dinner at Baja Miguel or Primary Prime Rib, two each.
