KIM YEON-AH, YOON SUNG-BIN, AND SEUNG-MIN SPREAD HOPE AT TALK CONCERT

Olympic gold medalists Kim Yeon-ah (figure skating), Yoon Sung-bin (skeleton), and International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Yoo Seung-min (table tennis), representing Korea, shared their dreams and hopes with youth based on their world-class experiences. The 2018 PyeongChang Memorial Foundation and KB Financial Group hosted the ‘Gangwon 2024 Olympian Talk Concert with KB’ on March 28 at the PyeongChang Olympic Memorial Hall in PyeongChang, Gangwon Province, featuring the trio of legendary Olympians and youth.

In honor of the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games (Gangwon 2024), the first Winter Youth Olympic Games to be held on the Asian continent, Kim Yeon-ah, Yoon Sung-bin, and Yoo Seung-min shared with the youth their experiences of overcoming their limitations and achieving their goals as teenagers.Yoon Sung-bin, who won a gold medal at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, advised the participants to have confidence in themselves so that they can showcase their skills and gain more experience.

Kim, who won gold in the women’s figure singles at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and silver at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, shared her experiences with the youth, explaining the challenges and how she was able to showcase her hard work on the big stage.2004 IOC Member Yoo Seung-min, a gold medalist in the men’s singles table tennis event at the Athens Olympic Games and Chairman of the PyeongChang Memorial Foundation, said: “It was a very meaningful time for me to meet the young people, listen to their concerns and share their heartfelt stories.
