Ukraine, on the brink, pulls off a thrilling upset… 2-1 victory over Slovakia

Ukraine survived a cliffhanger.

Ukraine defeated Slovakia 2-1 in the second leg of their UEFA Euro 2024 Group E match at the Düsseldorf Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, at 10 p.m. ET on June 21. With the win, Ukraine and Slovakia are even at 1-1 in the group.

Slovakia pulled out a 4-3-3 formation. Ivan Schranz, Robert Bozenik, and Lukas Haraslin lined up up front, while Juraj Kuczka, Stanislav Lobotka, and Ondrej Duda formed the back four.
