OLG Optimizes FanDuel Launch

Suarez previously said FanDuel’s foray into the District of Columbia would maximize state revenue while providing the best-in-class experience for more than 18 residents.

FanDuel has pledged to generate taxes worth $119 million within five years, including $5 million in the transition to the General Fund. The operator will also spend between $2 million and $4 million on operating expenses.

FanDuel is already a successful company in several states, including nearby Maryland, with a 50% market share.

Meanwhile, FanDuel is seizing opportunities in Nevada. Despite being one of the largest gambling companies in the U.S., it has yet to establish itself in the gambling capital of the world.
