G2E to move to October from next year

The Global Game Expo has been changing homes and dates since 2011. The biggest conference in the gambling industry will move from the Las Vegas Convention Center in November to the Sands Expo and Convention Center in the first week of October.

U.S. Gaming Association President Frank Fahrenkoff says the rescheduling is permanent. “The show is happening after companies submit their annual budgets,” Fahrenkopf said. “[The change] makes it easier to plan for next year.” 메이저 토토사이트

AGA organizes the meeting with the lead exhibition. Fahrenkopf also said the date change reflected the global nature of the business, giving exhibitors at the G2E and London International Game Expo “more breathing space and planning time” in January

And while the Sands Expo Convention Center has only 1.8 million square feet (including the Venice Congress facility) of conference space compared to the Las Vegas Convention Center’s 2.3 million square feet, conference organizers believe attendees will like the change of venue.

“By moving to the Sands Expo and Convention Center, we offer the convenience of rooms, meals, and entertainment under the same roof,” said Fahrenkopf. The Asian G2E date has also been changed to facilitate the convention schedule.
