Women’s Basketball U-18 National Team Called Up to Play in Asia Cup in June

The Korea Basketball Association (KBA) announced today that 12 coaches and players have been called up for the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) U-18 Women’s Asia Cup.

The U-18 squad, coached by Kang Byung-soo, includes Lee Ga-hyun (Supia Girls’ High School), who averaged 24.8 points and 7.8 rebounds at the 2023 U-17 Women’s Asian Championship in Jordan, as well as Lee Won-jung (Onyang Girls’ High School), Jung Chae-ah (Bundang Management High School) and 카지노 Yoo Ha-eun (Sookmyung Girls’ High School).

The team will have a month of intense training before departing for Shenzhen, China, on June 22 for the tournament.

The U-18 Asia Cup will be held from June 24-30.

The top four teams will qualify for the FIBA U-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2025.
