SON HEUNG-MIN, LEE KANG-IN, AND OTHERS SET TO COMPETE IN TWO WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS IN NOVEMBER

Germany national soccer team head coach Jürgen Klinsmann has called up all of Europe’s top players for a two-game series to kick off qualifying for the 2026 World Cup North America .The Korea Football Association (KFA) today announced a 23-player roster for the first and second rounds of the North American World Cup Asia qualifiers, which will take place during the A-Match in November. Song Bum-geun returns to the national team after a five-month absence .Song, who made his only A-League appearance against Hong Kong in the East Asian Football Confederation (EAFF) E-1 Championship last July, was on the roster until June of this year, when he was sidelined with an injury. To qualify for the World Cup, teams must finish in the top two of their group in the third qualifying round, which features 18 second-place finishers divided into three groups.
