Gwangju’s Kim Yunho becomes youngest K League 1 player…’17 years, 4 months, 17 days’

Rookie striker Kim Yoon-ho of Gwangju FC has become the youngest player to make a K League 1 appearance in professional soccer.

Kim Yun-ho made his professional debut in the 31st round home match of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 against Jeju United on May 22 at the Gwangju Football Stadium.

Born on May 13, 2007, Kim started against Jeju and became the youngest player in K League 1 history at 17 years, 4 months, 토토사이트 순위 and 17 days old.

The previous record was 17 years, 4 months, and 26 days set by Kim Ji-Soo (Brentford) on May 14, 2022, while playing for Seongnam FC.

The 187-centimeter, 80-kilogram Kim Yun-ho was the club’s first semi-professional signing on July 31st.

“Kim Yun-ho is an all-weather striker with the ability to play in the post as a striker, as well as sharp key passes and space penetration, and is a multi-attacking resource who can also play the role of an attacking midfielder,” Gwangju said.

Kim was called up to the U-17 national team for the Croatia 2024 international friendly in September.
