Amerista Casino Reveals $240M Expansion Details

Amerista Casino St. Charles has begun the highly anticipated construction of a 25-story, 400-room suite hotel that will provide state-of-the-art amenities along the St. Charles River. The hotel will pay tribute to the historical architecture of the area, which has an impressive century transition style structure that goes beyond the scale and scope of previous projects along the river.

Ameristar announced detailed plans for the hotel, including exceptional room amenities, an impressive indoor/outdoor swimming pool with distinctive views, a tranquil and luxurious full-service spa, a new 2,350-page parking lot (total space available in the two parking lots has increased to 6,100), and a 55,000-square-foot conference and conference center. The total construction cost is expected to be approximately $240 million, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2006 for conference facilities, in the fourth quarter of 2006 for the initial 1,400 pages of the parking lot, and in late 2007 for the hotel and the rest of the 950-page parking lot.

The unique design of the hotel and garage facades was inspired by the architectural features of the preserved buildings on St. Charles’ historic Main Street and the renovated warehouse buildings in downtown St. Louis. The grand hotel tower was painstakingly detailed to incorporate the old quality of old bricks and decorative castings that were unique to the historical structure of the area. Cabin windows will reflect the reflective light of night lights dancing across the nearby river.

Guests will enter the hotel via a giant glass-covered trail that complements and expands on the existing iconic gravel street scene in the main fountain area of the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel’s entrance, guests will be transported back to the bygone era by custom ironwork and a magnificent hand-finished canopy of glass.

Beyond the entrance, the hotel’s sprawling two-story lobby welcomes guests with a view of the Missouri River amid its sophisticated luxury. The wonderfully modern but classic chocolate and red-tone decorations incorporate plush drapers and premium leather furniture into intimate seating groups framed by rich areas of rugs on marble floors and lit by two standout fireplaces.

The all-suite hotel’s 400 oversized rooms will offer some of the most luxurious accommodation in the metropolitan area. Designed to maximise the grand surroundings of the building, all suites are designed with bedroom entrances to show views of the river and the city of St. Charles from the sunken living room space. All suites are decorated with customized warm palettes of express, caramel, ivory and gold that highlight cherry wood, emprado marble, inset frosted glass, and satin nickel details. Customized furniture includes a full-height leather headboard and creates a comfortable haven, featuring a richness of texture that focuses on lines, colors, and shapes. Geometrically patterned marble stone floors welcome guests at the entrance. The luxurious amenities extend not only to an LCD TV screen, but also to five fixed bathrooms, including a Whirlpool tub, a separate glass shower, matching vanities, and an enclosed water closet. State-of-the-art amenities such as high-speed wireless internet access in the living and bedroom and a dual 42″ plasma television offer a technologically advanced experience.

Additionally, the 10 King Spa suites include a Whirlpool bathtub with spectacular views, a dynamic wet bar, and three 42-inch plasma televisions. The hotel’s two presidential suites will further expand plush amenities, each with three full bay windows overlooking the river, a gas log firepit, a wet bar, a custom full table and four 42-inch plasma televisions, as well as a top-of-the-line entertainment system with surround sound and DVD players.

The accommodation features an impressive indoor/outdoor pool, a unique swimming pool deck, and a unique landscaping area. Guests can swim between the indoor and outdoor pools in two spectacular environments. The pool area, surrounded by serene fountains, also features both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. In addition to the luxurious surroundings, the pool deck offers a luxury chase lounge, professional seating area, and romantic fire fighting facilities. The spacious outdoor lawn area features six cabanas with a television and comfortable daybeds, along with a conference area for outdoor events.

In the pool, the hotel’s full-service spa, WAV, will also entertain guests in a serene and comfortable water-themed environment featuring blue and green tones and architectural use with plenty of customized glass and water features. The 7,000-square-foot spa will offer a full menu of traditional and state-of-the-art spa services in six private treatment rooms, including a dedicated facial room and a wet room for scrub and body wash. There are also giant swirling, dry sauna, and men’s and women’s lounge areas available featuring a variety of massages and facial treatments, eucalyptus steam room, and waterfalls. The private women’s lounge is in the natural light with one full-size frosted glass wall adjacent to the pool deck. Retail boutiques, unique wave-shaped nail bars, comfortable custom pedicure banquettes, relaxation dry lounges, free drinks, and comfortable lounge furniture will complete the ultimate experience in calm for guests.

The 2,350-page parking lot will expand the classic design of the hotel and provide a new and more convenient valet space for Ameristar customers. “With the addition of four diamond-quality hotels to our St. Charles accommodation, Amerista will expand our capacity to provide premium amenities and services to our guests,” said Craig Nielsen, President and CEO of Amerista. “Amerista St. Charles is already known as the premier gaming and entertainment facility in the Greater St. Louis area, and our new hotel will take a new dimension to the high level of service and quality our guests have come to expect.” 파워볼실시간
